Andy Pickard

Andrew is a partner within our Real Estate Department and has vast experience in all aspects of transactional and contentious property work (both the commercial and residential).

In residential property Andrew is experienced in the full range of transactions from shared ownership leases through to dealing with country estates and large developments.  In commercial property his experience includes sales and purchases of commercial premises such as retail units and office buildings.

Andrew advises on all aspects of landlord and tenant law on both residential and commercial property; dealing with lease extensions and freehold acquisitions and possession claims.  He has immense experience dealing with commercial leases acting for both landlords and tenants. Andrew’s practice includes contentious work under secured tenancy legislation and all types of property litigation; he is a specialist in dilapidations claims.

Andrew also undertakes work in other areas which dovetail with real estate law including wills, estate administration (Probate) and Powers of Attorney.

As with all our solicitors, Andrew receives a huge number of instructions by way of recommendations from existing clients, estate agents and other solicitors and professionals. Andrew offers a personal service which is client focused. He works closely with all parties involved in each transaction to ensure the lines of communication are maintained and issues identified and resolved at an early stage.

Andrew commutes from North Surrey and can be regularly seen crossing Waterloo Bridge on his faithful Brompton. He has a range of outside interests, enjoys travel, jogging and cycling.
